Review: La Mer The Hand Treatment

This winter is one for the books. It was 30-something today, and I was this close to wearing open toe shoes. I mean, what an improvement from the high of -2 experienced the previous week?
Anyway, as a result of this lovely weather, my hands would usually be a mess. Not this winter, though. Thankfully, last month I was in Saks and talked into La Mer’s hand cream.
Let’s discuss the experience, which I’m all about. It has the lovely Creme de la Mer scent and feels like velvet. It rubs in so well and fast, you might not think it’s working or that you need more, but you don’t. Here’s the biggest selling point: In the past 7 1/2 years I’ve been with my boyfriend, as soon as the weather gets even a little cold, his hands turn purple, crack, flake, and then bleed. He’s tried everything, drenching his hands in Vasoline, every thick lotion you could think of — even prescriptions, gloves and nothing really improved. He used this for two days, and his hands were literally softer than mine.
La Mer, FTW.
